We Start May 23rd 2026 At 9am

Every Summer presents a choice for high school athletes: maintain… or separate.

The athletes who make real jumps—strength, confidence, performance—don’t leave it to chance. They train with intent. They train with structure. And most importantly, they train around people and coaching that raise their standard.

That’s the purpose behind my Summer Training program at Scott York Fitness (Contact Me to reserve your spot or if you have questions).

Starting May 23rd at 9am, I’ll be working with a small group of high school athletes—limited to just 6. That number is intentional. It allows for real coaching, real attention to detail, and real development. Not babysitting. Not generic workouts. Actual progress.

This isn’t just about lifting weights. It’s about learning how to train the right way.

Too many athletes go through high school guessing. They lift with poor technique, follow random programs, chase numbers without understanding movement, and ignore recovery and nutrition. It works—until it doesn’t. That’s where injuries happen, plateaus hit, and confidence drops.

This program fixes that.

Athletes will learn proper weightlifting technique first and foremost. Squat, press, pull—done correctly, safely, and with purpose. Once that foundation is built, strength comes faster, performance improves, and risk of injury drops significantly.

We’ll also focus on intelligent programming. Not random workouts.  Every session has a reason behind it. Progression matters. Volume matters. Recovery matters. When athletes understand why they’re doing something, they train with more focus and get better results.

Nutrition will be addressed as well—not complicated, not overwhelming, but practical. High school athletes don’t need extremes, they need consistency. Fueling the body properly supports strength gains, energy levels, and overall performance.

But the biggest difference—and the part that separates athletes long term—is mindset (Contact Me to reserve your spot or if you have questions).

This is where growth really happens.

Athletes will be challenged to show up on time, push through difficult sessions, support their teammates, and take ownership of their development. They’ll learn how to compete without ego, how to handle success without arrogance, and how to deal with adversity without excuses.

That environment matters.

When you put a small group of motivated athletes together, something shifts. Standards rise. Effort increases. Accountability becomes normal. And that carries over—into their sport, into school, into life.

High school is a short window. Four years goes fast. The athletes who use their summers wisely give themselves a real advantage—not just physically, but mentally.

Stronger. More confident. More prepared.

That’s the goal.

If you’re serious about getting better this summer—not just staying busy—this is where it starts.

May 23rd. 9am. Limited to 6 athletes.

Make the decision to separate.
