Strength Dad Garage Gym Workout #1


I’m taking on the challenge of getting/staying in shape.  I’m a father of 4 young kids, married and own a business.

Follow along as I document and discuss the trials and tribulations of balancing life, family and fitness!

Garage Gym Workout #1:

Stick warmup
Barbell Curls 8 sets of 10 reps
Barbell Squats 6 sets of 6 reps with 205lbs.  Use a 4 second negative and take only 30 seconds of rest in between sets.
Barbell lunges 20 yards x 2 sets
Standing barbell heel raises x 30, 40, 50 and 60 reps.

Total workout time = 30 minutes approximately

Calories burned  – 250 approximately (take “EPOC” into consideration)
