I started my fitness bootcamp back in 2005. Right away it was obvious that just doing push ups, sit ups and squats would result in the death of my bootcamp business pretty quickly. My bootcamp clients were getting bored. And so was I. I started looking for fun ways to engage my clients during the warm up and at the end of the bootcamp workout. Success! Everyone loved it! They began to tell their friends about this crazy fun bootcamp. My business grew and people got great results.

I created “Bootcamp Fitness Games” out of necessity and for my fellow trainers and coaches. There are 21 games that need minimal equipment. There are 5 bootcamp fitness games in this book that don’t require any equipment. In the others, you’ll need some of the following: balls (bouncy balls, foam balls or tennis balls), a bucket or 2, cones, a plastic baseball bat, a stability ball, jump ropes, a frisbee, a whiffle ball, blindfolds, balloons, 2 medicine balls, a tug of war rope, agility rings, paper cups. These are things that are easy to transport, easy to find and in fact, you may already have them. If you don’t have them, you can get them cheap. I look at these types of purchases as an investment. Your bootcampers will love your creativity and your commitment to their workout.
