Had a blast meeting some new people and doing a workout here at my garage gym this past Saturday, March 23rd..
The workout was “Fight Gone Bad”
In this workout you spend one minute at each of five stations,
resulting in a five-minute round after which a one-minute break
is allowed before repeating.
This event calls for three rounds.
The clock does not reset or stop between exercises. On call of
‘rotate,’ the athletes must move to the next station immediately.
One point is given for each rep, except on the rower, where each
calorie is one point.
The stations are:
Wall-ball, 10 ft target (20/14) (we did ball slam with a 12lb ball)
Sumo deadlift high-pull (75/55) (we used a 45lb barbell)
Box jump (24″, 20″) (we used a 20″ box and most did step ups, not jumps)
Push-press (75/55) (we used 10lb dumbbells)
This was a fun, effective way to start off a Spring Saturday morning
here in Jonestown, Texas.
We have another free Saturday workout class scheduled for this
Saturday, March 30th at 10am
Enter your name and email in the appropriate place to the right
if you would like to come. Limited to 12 people.
This will be a different workout than Fight Gone Bad.
Have a great day!
